At Lapima, "Bossa" goes far beyond bossa nova nostalgia. The collection reflects a deeply Brazilian way of being: fluid, joyful, sensual. Through sculpted curves and organic forms, the brand translates "gingado" — that unique Brazilian sway — into eyewear design. Bossa becomes a lifestyle made wearable.
Lapima introduces 11 new models: 4 sunglasses and 7 optical frames, marking a bold step into the prescription segment. Each piece is named after iconic Brazilian women — Nara, Bebel, Gal — tying the designs to music, modern femininity, and cultural memory.
The collection plays with sculptural silhouettes: arches inspired by collarbones, temples echoing dancing legs. Everything curves — like hills, like bodies. “Bossa is Lapima’s most sensual collection,” says creative director Gustavo Assis. The goal: to capture fluidity, elegance, and softness in motion.
The color story is warm and tactile — sepia, earthy browns — with two standout limited-edition tones: Açaí (a deep purple) and Abacate (a matte green). These shades elevate the sculpted feel of the frames, grounding their fluidity in sophistication.
The collection will debut at MIDO in February — Italy’s leading eyewear trade show — before launching in stores and online via the brand’s e-commerce. A moment designed for global exposure with Brazilian soul.
